Sorem can also suggest improvements to the product, proposing possible choices of materials, verification of functional characteristics, as well as the possibility of carrying out tests on test benches to confirm the specific requests.
Metrology and metallurgy
Sorem is able to detect, both in the laboratory and during production, any dimensional anomaly on the manufactured parts by utilizing the most sophisticated measurement systems (Zeiss Contura, roughness testers, altimeters, and other specific instruments).
Our company also has a metallographic laboratory equipped with micro-hardness and hardness testers to check hardness and case-hardening depth, and a metallographic microscope to verify material structures.
Traceability
Sorem guarantees the traceability of the production batches of each single product, with the possibility of tracing back the documentation relating to raw materials and the checks carried out in the various production phases.

Sorem in an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and meets the requirements of the Automotive Quality Management System (MAQMSR).
While we are not IATF 16949 certified, our organizational structure is capable of managing and providing, upon request, specific technical documentation for the automotive sector, including PPAP packages (up to the required level), FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D reports for non-conformity management.
